I'm thinking raw fish might be a better choice. Bones get brittle and hard to digest when they're cooked. You could end up killing it with kindness.

great photo...we had Canada Geese in our yard back home..uninvited...and what a mess they left in the grass....the wees were always very interested in those little packets ..yuck...luckily here we do have pelicans but they dont come up on the balcony LOL

Terrific photo. Double ditto re don't feed the pelican. They defecate indiscriminately and leave a smelly mess. I'd discourage him from coming round.
