Since Abby's passing last month, Penny hasn't been her spunky self (actually, none of us have). We decided to get another rescue. We pick her up Friday. Here is Twinkie! Any guesses as to breed (we were told golden/setter/spaniel mix)? Agnes

She is already named Twinkie. At first I didn't like it, but the more I say it, the more I like it. We'll see after we get her if the name sticks or we pick a new one. Agnes

God bless you for rescuing another bundle of love. I think her breed is Aussie mix as well but you never can tell sometimes.

Agnes - I'm so happy for all of you!! I think Twinkie has Aussie (or maybe Sheltie) in her - those little perky triangular ears make me lean that way?

Also, Twinkie's facial markings and colors could be from a red merle Aussie - they come in all sorts of colors
