Back tire stuck in wet ground

Mt Aire MH gas 38’. Tow truck couldn’t pull from back? No room to pull from front. Tried boards, etc no go. Thanks for any ideas. Pour small rocks down in hole?

Congrats on getting it out. You could have saved the Tow Truck driver a lot of grief on here if you had included the info that is was your decision to not pull from the back.

Thanks for the help! We used dirt, rocks, wood, carpet piece, Traction’s mats and in the end 4x8x16 cement blocks to roll it up on! We have reasonable nice front lawn tow service would tear it up pulling it out from back so didn’t go there. Laid cement blocks all the way to fence gate so when ready to take her to a shop to work on jacks can go. While she is gone will configure block so under tires and jacks. Side note shop ordered parts from Newmar and very long wait.

Have tried several different methods to get unstuck. The issue with using wood in any form is if stuck due to water the tires will slip on wood. Water and mud acts as lubricant! Tiny gravel, sand anything added to gain traction on the wood.

I carry scrap wood leveling blocks. I paint them and add very coarse sand while the paint is wet. Color choice is up to you LOL

scrap plywood under the tires

get a winch double lined and hooked to the rear axle housing itself. Don't pull on brake lines and wiring there is no strength there 🙂

be gentle and take your time. Don't let the winch operator drag stuff that will break on the ground.

steer the front past the ruts from the rear.

I have a 30 ton 4" diameter 30' long braided nylon strap that I can no longer lift. Quicksilver at 18,000 lbs snatched a fully loaded propane bulk truck out of a ditch. Boy did it ever stretch the strap. I tried three times, the last one almost bumper to bumper. Quicksilver has a 100 pound Pintle hitch. Heavy rigs are a challenge. Good luck to you!

That is a really poor tow truck driver. Usually they just back their truck up on to solid ground, let out more cable and pull.

Thanks to all for responding. Ed is reviewing all and will be back at work on it tomorrow.
Fortunately in our yard and not too urgent. We were getting it ready to take to mechanic to work on our jacks. One had been stuck down so in getting it up think weight shifted and tire dug further in. All jacks now up. It’s a very heavy MH. Will let you know how we do (we not me but the guys). Haven’t looked at it yet but utube video looks very helpful. Putting rocks and carpet piece in hole too. We have plenty of wood.
Speaking of Jacks have you ever heard of https://trailerlegs.com/ guess kind of new on market. Ed’s going to research but thought since 2002 MH instead of paying mechanic to find parts and work on jacks maybe go with Legs idea.

Ok How are your leveling jacks and are they all the way down on the ground. Two sets of directions

If Leveling jacks fully retracted and in contact get a bottle jack and some 2x12's (2 or 3 feet long and I'd recommend a harbor fregight 12 ton (or bigger) Air/Hydraulic with a compressor to power it)

LIft so the levelign jacks are off the ground and 2x12 under them. This one should be 3 feet or longer Centered. Use it to lift the axle as far as you can and fill in the hole.. Let it down till you can plank under the wheels and drive off. Only suggestion I can make May take a while.

I carry a 160 PSI 6 gallon blow hard (Compressor) and 12 ton Air/Hydro jack.
