I have a used diamond plate toolbox I got at a good price, but the finish looks dull in places. What's the best way to clean and polish it. Thanks.

I use NEVR-DULL on my running boards. It is a lot of effort, but looks great. It's also not very expensive. One can has lasted me for years and I have probably done my running boards three times since I bought it.

0000 steel wool dry. I'm a rebel I like Simichrome. Then wash down with gas line dryer (alcohol) to remove the polish, and then several coats of pure lacquer. Yeah I'm lazy.

Yup, it's expensive but the results are amazing.

Mother's is good. Might even use the Mother's Powerball -- it attaches to your drill -- to speed up the process and take some of the elbow work out of it.
