Coleman air conditioner ceiling cover

I took mine down to clean the filters, there's a center insulation piece that was a little dusty so I thought i'd rinse it out, it quickly disintegrated. Can't find a replacement piece, any diy suggestions?

I just used RTV silicone as an adhesive.
