Duo-Therm AC Shroud replacement

We own a 2003 Lance 1161 with a Duo-Therm AC unit. I have to replace the shroud (again) because it has several cracks (again). I came across a company called "Icon" that makes replacements that they claim are a more durable, uV resistant polycarbonate material. Anyone familiar with their products? Think it's worth a try?
Thanks!

There have been BriskAir models that only used 4 screws- the pictured shroud will work with those. Basically, there are 2 "modern" BriskAir shrouds- a 10" and a 12". The 12" is the 10 with an added band riveted to the bottom. All are closed back now.
There is also the low profile Penguin- all of them use 4 screws, but they have no slots in them.

On our last TT which came from Texas, the whole shroud was very brittle so I lined the whole inside of it with fiber glass. It held up great!

Wow! They have a lot of differences

Mine appears to have a lower profile. I'll try to get the model number tomorrow...

At least all of your readers know that one size does not fit all. They will carefully check theirs.

Mine also has 5 screws per side holding the white shroud to the gray base.

The shroud in your link wouldn't work on my Air conditioner.... the shroud on my AC is held on by a total of 4 screws

The one in the picture appears to be different than mine

and the one your link has at least 4 screws per side (8 total) ... and none of them are in the same place that the screws holes in my shroud are located.

The vent slots are different too

Did I miss something or is your AC different than mine?

Why don't you share a link.... that way we have the information we need to answer your question.

This might be a LINK

I replaced my cover in 2012... the old one was 10 years old... I bought the replacement at Camping World, Gulf Breeze, FL... if it last 10 years I will have got my $60 worth.
