Generator air conditioning

Trying to get a idea hove long a Honda EU 3000is will run on a tank of gas whith a 15000 btu air conditioner running using about 14A, so a bit more than 50% load, I have a Magnum hybrid MSH 3000 for start up loads. 520A of battery's and 600W of solar Honda writes 7.2 H at rated load and 20 H at 1/4 load. Load is based on whether the A/C is cycling or just running the blower.

Typically the A/C won't be running non-stop unless you are in full sun on a hot day.

8-9 hours based on experience. It will be impacted by outside temp and inside temp and how much does the compressor on the AC run.

Being a sizable load for the Honda 3000is, I would expect the longevity of a filled tank to be closer to the hours stated at near max rated load than the 1/4 load rating. Hard to say for sure with the variables involved, maybe 10 hours give or take. Our Onan consumes about 1/2 gallon and hour while our Champion 3100 inverter genny will power our 13.5K AC unit nearly 7 hours on it's 1.5 gallon tank.
