Has anybody run across a killer close-out price on a pair of Honda 2200 inverter generators? I'm in the market. The replacement 3000 gennie weighs about 130#. Too much for my tired old bod to lug around.

I started a thread on this and haven't had time to get back to camping world and look at their sign they had posted.

I had one of our 2000s worked on recently at our local Honda repair shop. He showed me a shelf with 2200s that are recalled and waiting for Honda to determine the fix.

Well that means no sales at all. Not going to be discounted.

For the OP; contact Mayberry for a great price shipped to your door.
If there is something going on they should say one way or the other.

if so it hasn't been posted on either the honda or gov websites. So I suspect that there isn't one.

They have a fuel leak problem on another model of Honda, it is taken off the market. For some reason it keeps getting reported the 2200 is no longer being sold.

I think it's that particular dealer that is no longer carrying the new EU2200i.
Or they made a mistake. I'm guessing they were talking about the 2000 and put the wrong info on their ad.

Clicky

The Honda Power Equipment Website does not say anything about discontinuing the EU220I.
