manual refeer lighting problems on lp

Have a 185RB Jayco. Had refer chimney cleaned last fall, lit good, Now while holding in gas button and clicking igniter, the gauge on front moves over to the green but no further. Let go of gas buuton and it returns to original position. Yes am getting gas to burner on stove, two different tanks used, refer doets same thing. Please help.thankuou in advance.

How LONG are you holding the button in when the green indicator is showing. I have found, that you may have to hold it up to a minute. If so, then the Nut on the Thermocoupler is NOT tight. Usually, just a 1/4 turn on the nut will restore the millivolt connection. You do have to partially pull the refer to do this. Doug

Yep if itโ€™s lighting but not staying lit then the thermocouple probably needs replacing.

That sounds like the thermocouple is bad.
