microwave replacement

Hi All,

My Dometic microwave turn table has died.

I do have a capable 3000 watt psw inverter.

What would you choose to replace it?

I'm tempted to just use it without the turntable.

I might gain a little storage by replacing it.
Regards, Don

Dometic... I do not know about yours but Mine was made by LG (Lucky Goldstar) and I have not been all that Lucky with Goldstar products.. Long story omitted.. So far I've had just one that works. I avoid them.

Now the microwave.. The problem it had was the turntable motor. the plastic shaft was just flat too short. in addition the hole the 3 arm went through to engage the motor.. Too small.

The solution.. GE uses the same motor but it has a longer metal shaft.. So I replaced it.. And I enlarged the hole slightly.. Just enough the 3 arm could go through and turn freely. Worked for 16 years after that.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
