our MH has 2 of these levers that you just rotate and the emergency window opens. except it doesn't! with both open and giving it a good push... nothing moves. any ideas ? thanks all
I've heard that in the case of a fire, the window comes out much easier (Big Foot!!)

I have never open the emergency exits. I just never thought about it other than knowing where they were. I'm actually going to open the RV up this weekend. And opening the exits will be a main priority.
I tried heavy-duty silicone spray and the door started re-sticking after eight months. The grease on the other hand has lasted for several years now. If you already have the spray lube, I'd try it first.
Clean the edge and apply a coating of electronic silicone GREASE. It's clean, doesn't run and thete's no need to fuss with it annually. Ten years from now you can open the window normally. Course with flames licking your hind end, you'd be through that window in nothing flat. Stuck or not...

Most folks never open the escape window and the seals "Stick" together so you hit it on the head.
I have used both of mine for one use or another.. They work.
Even used one as an emergency ENTRANCE!!!!!!
Home was where I park it. but alas the. 2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios Kenwood TS-2000, ICOM ID-5100, ID-51A+2, ID-880 REF030C most times
Well nothing moved. even with a hammer and block of wood to protect the paint. then I hoped opening the window would allow the frame to flex a bit. success. thanks all
Quick trip wrote: spray some WD40 along the seal! Wait 10 minutes and should start to loosen the seal! Have a rag handy so the WD40 doesn't run down the sides. Good Luck & Drive Safe!
Rather than WD40 my preference would be to use one of the spray silicone lubricants and let it soak in. Once the window is open then use NAPA SIL Glyde (comes in a tube) and rub some on the seal to prevent future sticking. Sil Glyde also is great for all the rubber seals on the car and truck door seals.
I make a point to open mine before every trip as part of my preparations. It takes just a few seconds. I agree that if you spray some WD-40 on it now and let it set for a few minutes it will open.
