Power Gear leveler issue

I have a 2005 Jayco Seneca 35GS, which has the stock PG auto levelers. Everything is working fine with them, however when I retrieve them the beeping that tells you they are still down just keeps beeping. The jacks are up, but the sensor thinks otherwise. I suspect the sensor needs to be adjusted but not sure where to start on that.

Any thoughts from the forum?

If you have never changed the fluid now would be a good time to do it, replace with synthetic merconV

Thank you for the great feedback. Looks like I check the fluid level and the hoses for leaks. Sounds fun...!
With luck you may not have a leak. It may have finally purged an air bubble trapped in the system. I added to my 2005 a couple of times but never found a leak ... after the second time it never needed fluid again.

ATF is the fluid of choice, yes. Last year, coming home from a trip, the alarm sounded. First time in 15 years. Yes, fluid was low. Added some. Next trip, coming home, same thing. THIS time, noticed (red) oil on the grass. One of the hoses (passenger side front) had a pin hole in it. Took the hose to a hydraulic shop, new one made. New fittings included (7 feet long) Installed it, end of problem.

2 weeks after that...another hose leak. That one was 33 feet long. Some fun getting that one out from the channel frame.....LOL !! That one had a chafe that wore thru.

Ours do that with low fluid level and they don't have to be very low for the alarm to sound. Most use Automatic Transmission Fluid. Be sure what yours uses before putting any fluid in.

Check your fluid level. It's not unusual for the system to purge air over time leaving the fluid level just low enough to trigger the alarm.
