Suburban furnace

Hi We have a 2012 Keystone Cougar 5th wheel. It has a Suburban furnace which is under the refrigerator. We have been having problems for a year now and have spent too much money for it still to not be working. Have bought new converter, new battery, new circuit board and new high limit switch. Rv mobile men, meaning 3, are stumped runs for them at 85 to 90 but not for us at 70. We have to bump it to 71. Every minute and 30 to 40 seconds there is a click like ignitor or sail switch. It runs what seems normal time and gets warm. Then it shuts off, in my opinion, blower and burner at same time and I don't think that is how it's to be. Then a light warm breeze from cold air return under fridge and a hot to electrical smell. It then will not come back on unless we shut whole system off and wait 30 seconds and turn back on. Tired of spending money, HELP

Since you're in TX, is it possible you have mud daubers that built a mud mass inside the heat exchanger?

It very well may be over temping and shutting down. If the exhaust is not restricted then try this. Heat may be building in the blower area because there are not enough discharge ducts installed to move the proper volume of air thus allowing an over temp condition.

This is fairly easy to correct by getting the necessary parts and installing another duct. Usually a short run that allows more air out of the furnace into the living area. The furnace may have to be removed so a duct blank can be removed and the ducting adapter installed. Install a register for the outlet and connect up with the duct tubing from the furnace.

We replaced the thermostat(mechanical) with a digital to get the control we wanted.
The fan should run after the burner cycles off as a cool down for a few minutes.
Mud dubbers in the exhaust will cause it to shut down on high temp. Circuit board may be the wrong one.
Unless there was a battery and/or converter problem that shouldn't have anything to do with the heater working unless the failure was such you didn't have 12 VDC.
