Toilet Flush

After flushing my Dometic toilet, I like to partially refill the bowl with water but to do so requires balancing on one leg while depressing the flush pedal only a small distance as I steady myself against a wall.
Has anyone developed a technique or modification that helps modulate the flush pedal?

Push pedal down for flush. Lift pedal up for fill - no flush.

This last coach we bought has a button to flush and also add water. Looks like a perfect way to have problems to me. But that is the way this handicap model works

The hand flush on our Dometic 320 is either/or. You can’t operate the hand sprayer without stepping on the flush pedal. It just diverts the water from the flushing action to the hand sprayer so not a good way to fill the bowl.

Thanks for that info. I guess it is still good for cleaning the bowl. But that doesn't sound useful for filling it. Maybe I will just plumb my own hand sprayer in with its own valve.

I have big feet, heel on the floor toes on the pedal.

Love the Dometic 320!!! Leaves a nice water seal after flushing. To add more water do the heel/toe method as mentioned.

I don't know how old you are (I'm only 66), but I stand on one foot and depress the pedal as needed. The shower door surround is right there on my right if I need to put a hand on that to balance - but rarely do.

Use your hand to press the pedal to trigger the water. Gloves optional.

I fill my plastic water glass at the sink and just dump it in. Easy Peezie.

If you weren't so far away, I would offer to trade you for mine which has a hand operated lever. It does not suffer from THAT particular problem. 😉
