My vehicle says to use unleaded. What is wrong with using that word to sell the product?

It is after all without tetraethyl lead.

I look at quite a few but this one seemed to stand out.

Around here "regular" means leaded gas, even though no one sells it anymore, and hasn't for a long time.

So "Unleaded" could indeed be a lower grade/octane. So I still don't see anything noticeable.

It's all unleaded. Perhaps should say Regular instead of unleaded?
Correct.

That sign implies that 'unleaded' means a lower grade. You are right, all gasoline is unleaded. It's the octane rating that makes gas "mid-grade" and "premium".

It's just gasoline. That's in Pahrump NV.
It very likely could be that "Unleaded" on the sign is 85-87 octane, "Mid-Grade" is 89 octane, and "Premium" is 92 octane. That's the way it's priced around here. So "Unleaded" could indeed be a lower grade/octane. So I still don't see anything noticeable.

Good to see only a 30 cent differential between low and high test. Around here it's 60 to 70 cent difference.

The 64 dollar question is, of course.. When will fuel prices adversely impact the RV industry. Keep in mind that is what tanked it last time....

I'm glad my gassers are low compression and handle 85 octane just fine.

Some local area Maverik stations carry ethanol-free 88; it is a $.30 jump per gallon from 85, which sticks it close to the cost of 91.
