Was curious if anyone has this unit?

https://wenproducts.com/products/wen-56380i-super-quiet-3800-watt-portable-inverter-generator-with-fuel-shut-off

It has a 5 star rating on most retailers website. Just wondering who here may have it and how do they like it as there isn't much out there on this unit as of yet that I can find.

Thanks

The Predator is the only knock-off I've seen that actually is pretty quiet.

Update on the Champion:

I ran the generator at home for 8+ hours. Break in and oil change.

Someone mentioned that theirs seemed to get quieter after 20 or so hours. I didn't think much of the comment.

Now that I am out in the woods with the genny running it appears to be settling down and running quieter.

I am beyond happy with my Champion 3400 gen. And so far I'm pretty pleased with my Wen compressor. It's loud but airs up and/or powers my pneumatic stuff without a hiccup.

Time and time again I opted for fifth floor dining in a casino.

The people who squander five grand on the tables wait in line for an hour to settle for chow hall slop.

Real fartsmellers, they are.

I just bought a Champion 3150 inverter generator.

After hours of reading and watching reviews I pulled the trigger.......

I am disappointed.

It has some cool features but is much louder and uses more fuel than I had anticipated from the reviews.

It is not horrible but definitely did not meet expectations.

Good luck.

Years ago I worked at a Wen service center, their stuff was a waste of our time.

Probably a lot better to buy a Champion if you want to buy an inexpensive genny.

So many 5 star ratings can be fake or if real are from people who have had the unit a very very short time.

The problem with theses cheaper, Chinese manufactured generators is available service and parts availability. The exception seems to be Champion who do have an extensive service network and available parts. Consider this carefully before buying. It would be a shame to throw away a non working generator just a few years old because no one will work on it.
