clickyI overtightened my circuit breaker connection, and broke it.
It looks just like this one:

If my camper is a 30 amp service, is this cb a 30 amp breaker? I'm trying to avoid a drive to the camper and looking at the label on the cb!

Both Buss and Littlefuse make breakers like that, Some are plastic cased, Some metal, it really matters not

The only thing that matters is the amperage rating that should be molded or stamped or printed on the plastic portion of the case, You might need to remove it to read the amperage.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Mex, I have an aversion to self resetting. During an unattended fault how many times will it reset before the thing fails? Do you trust it to fail open?

Good link and with minimal browsing a 50a manual reset is $41.08 shipped.

Switchable can also help during service.

Yes I know it is more money and well worth it to have actual protection.

If you look at it real close you will probably fine that it is a 50A DC auto reset breaker. If the old one just quit look for a small pin size button which is the reset button. Our first camper had not-auto reset ones installed.

The 30 amp AC service for your RV is not related to the sizing of this DC circuit breaker.

Those breakers are readily available, but, they do come in different amperages.

You probably need to drive by a few autoparts stores, on your way to the trailer. Pick up a couple 20's, 30's, and 40's. On your way home, return what you don't need.

Amperage would be closer based on the size of the converter and wire size between the batteries and the converter. You should be safe with a thirty or maybe a forty. I am guessing on the discription of rig in signature.

That's a DC auto reset circuit breaker readily found at any auto parts store - I would take the old one in and see if they can identify and replace with identical amp.
