Note from moderator,
Please keep pics to a max 640 width as a favor to those with smaller screens and dial up. "IF" you can not figure out how to make the pics smaller, post them, PM me or hit 'notify moderator' button, say you can not resize pics, and I aka blt2ski/Marty will go in and edit/fix.
Enjoy everyones pics

For our first four years of camping, we towed with my 1970 Suburban. It was an awesome rig because it was a conversation piece at every campground and I met some great gearheads who also loved old trucks. But, its a tough economy so I sold it last summer to help grow our small business here in NASCAR country.
Now I have a "normal" tow vehicle and I guess we kinda blend in. Nobody ever stops by to talk old cars. haha.
Sure do miss my 'ol hot rod.

We also traded campers two weeks ago.

Can't help it, I still like the fat bottom rear fenders. New ones are nice, but I just like the older look, at least in that. Really nice truck!!

This is a Towing rig Thread, but seems some need proof that Rams can really tow.

This is our 2001 Ram CTD, carrying our 2005 Copper Canyon 293 FWSLS.

Relax..... I was joking. There's a lot of highway queen Rams around here and everywhere else that think it's so cool to run the mirrors out... It's a known joke in the diesel truck world. I meant no harm. I am not partial to any brand truck. I prefer the one that works for what I need. However, I am a Ford mechanic so I am a little biased. But like I said, I was just teasing.

no problem - the mirrors were out on the gray one for pictures for an ad we ran - autotrader was a waste of money by the way. tried to sell a 2wd in the winter in michigan is a hard sell - so I decided to drive it till spring lol. Future SIL works at a ford delaership and drives a dodge ๐Ÿ˜•

heck that gray one pulled our last camper from Michigan to San Francisco - left on a Friday night at 3:30pm and got into the campground at 2:30 Monday - that including a servicing at Reno that delayed us 3 hrs. another trip to bar harbor Maine - lots of smaller trips too. that was a hard drive for any truck up thru the rocky mountains and never slowed a bit - part of the reason for another RAM. just went a little heavier suspension this time around. if the gray one is still around in the spring you might still see it at a campground or two. the ride on the 1/2 ton is smoother and I keep driving it till it sells. heck it only has 72,000 on it and is fully rigged so I keep on trucking
