12V Portable air compressor

Im looking to add a 12V air compressor to my list of things we carry when we camp in our trailer. There are SOOOO many of them on the market I figured I would ask here what brand or model you guys are using and would recommend?

If it has a cigar plug it is weak.
A good 12v compressor will have battery clamps or hardwired.
MV-50 works well for me.

I wanted a real air compressor, not one of the $12 toys. I bought this MV50 from Northern tool. Of course it is made in China but it works really well. It stays in my camper. Check it out.

I have one of these with a small tank...

Forget the el-cheap-o ones from wallyworld.



Buy one of these, a tank from HF tools, and wire it in somewhere with a hose long enough to reach all the tires on the TV and Trailer. 100% duty cycle means it will not******out filling an empty tire, and hardwire or battery clips mean it will not melt the cigar lighter plug.

150 psi compressor from Harbor Freight. Had it 2 years, works well so far.

Sorry about that, I would be using it for my truck tires(60-65psi)my trailer tires, kids bike tires, maybe to inflate a raft or float tube for fishing.

I use the one I posted above to bring my trailer tires to 50 psi!

You can go smaller such as the Viair 90P, but inflation and recovery take longer.
