After posting a few comments on another thread, I decided to start this one under a topic more easily recognized. I also have started a blog at: http://www.tcreviver.com. Okay, MKish, here it is. I'll post to it whenever I get a chance. -Carey

Took the camper to Race Point Beach Provincetown MA.

Weather was foggy but it did not rain !

It sounds as though your camper needs to be racked back into allignment.
Not sure on where you are at with the reframing .
If you have the interior wall paneling off you should be able to square the camper up.
If the camper is sitting on the ground and not on those lovely 3 jacks, you could move the sides back into square by apply diagonal braces on the outside.
Just be carefull to pad behind whatever you put against the outer siding.

Good luck

Ok guys need a little help/advice. Starting back on my 73 after a year off and was looking at the squareness of the camper as it seems that the roof is further forward than the floor and the walls are leaning toward the left. The floor has been replaced with a new steel framed floor so i know it is straight and level. Was this camper built off square or is mine that far out. I am wanting to start framing the inside back up but don't want to do it if nothing is going to line up. Any ideas on how or if i need to straighten it out

I ended up taking a 12 volt and testing the wires. All set. All my new lighting operational. Did notice some moisture accumulation in the marker light lenses. Normal? Would drilling micro drain or vent address this. Or maybe silicone grease as a seal for lenses? Anyway, Almost there!

Thanks. I regrounded everything when I replaced all the exterior lighting so hopefully thats good. The existing wire colors to outlet in camper are green, blue, red, brown, and another reddish/pink that runs attached/parallel to a white both of which are thicker gauge. This doesnt really match up with the diagrams I see online.

If you google trailer wiring you will get the info you need on the color code.
If for some reason your tailights don't work and you have a snap & nap it is because thes lights are grounded to the camper by the hinge on the top. My tail lights would work until i closed up the back and then they would't.
I had to run seperate ground wires to the tailights and have never had a problem with them since.

good luck

Cool. More power. Besides AC what should I install? Maybe little a microwave. Camper is now all pex with shark bite knock offs. New faucets and sink pvc drains too. Now back to the six flat prong trailer outlet to my F series. Minus the hot water tank I have great access to wiring. Might anyone know the six wire color code? If I can button that up, I am taking a four day holiday weekend trip! Thanks for all the input thus far. Its been a fun little project.

The romex coming out of the junction box is for AC? I had wondered if it was done after manufacture. I recently replaced both roof vents and need to do something with the ceiling in the bathroom. There never seems to be enough time.

Good idea with batroom pump switch install. I simply removed hot water system and replaced cold water system with pex and new fixtures. Hot water tank was shot anyway. Oh well...

Hi guys, I've been doing a little along on mine. I'm working on the floor foundation now. I haven't posted to the blog any yet, but am planning to work again next weekend if weather permits, maybe I can add to the blog also. Glad to know some of you are getting to enjoy yours. Carey

Now might be a good time to upgrade to plastic plumbing lines.
I just installed a water pump switch in the bathroom medicine cabinet.
It has proven very to be very handy.
Post some pics when you get a chance.

Saw a very nice Amerigo on a Chev pickup in Billings MT yesterday. Pickup had Illinois plates. Of course didn't have a camera along.

Hooked up water system and discovered leak in cold water line to bathroom. Leak was right behind oven with extremely limited access. In addition, sharkbites wont fit the existing 3/8 copper.
