Well, had the Sunnybrook 26CKS for 11 years. Now for the next 10. Even though the Outdoor RV line is top shelf there are still things to do to get it trip ready as there is any new TT. First off is to remove a thousand stickers that have glue of doom. Then a complete wax job to remove excess silicone sealer along most seals. Re-torque lug nuts. Install new shelf liner. I hope to find some that does not slide with the dishes and wad up in a corner. Put some carpet in the huge storage areas so the plastic storage containers stay put. Then figure out what will go where. Eventually I would like to make a floor for the tongue area but that will take some time. The big issue is the steps are not dog friendly. That is they have slots in them for traction when wet but it also will take a toe nail of my dog if caught wrong. Can't have that. The steps are radius on the front and that makes it even harder to mod. Any suggestions? Besides wraping them with duct tape. The list will continue.

Well if he spoke about a repair rather than replacing the front cap, I would have to assume that they would repair it like they do body work on a fiber glass car such as a Corvette. They would likely grind out the area where the stress cracks are and fill them with fiber glass and resin, sand smooth and would have to paint the area. I don't know how this would wear compared to the original fiber glass gel coat, so that would certainly be a conversation that I would have with them. I would also not want to see any evidence of a repair as in miss match of color etc. Regarding the cure time for the adhesives/sealers if the cap was replaced I would think at least 24 hours as in most cure times for these kind of things.

He spoke of a repair rather than a replacement. What would the cure time be? Both ends screwed up now, rear window had to be replaced, now the front cap. There are several issues in the middle as well. That's my luck. Must have been built on a Friday.

Thanks Gazzer. I spoke with the factory about this and the man in charge of service said this could be repaired in less than a day there. They are always nice and he requested picks of all issues. There is going to be a rally up there in June and I plan on being there. I am sure that everyone has the same issues to share. Looks like I'll be working on it till I sell it. It's a nice unit and now I always have something to do. Outdoor RV could almost have it's own forum area for issues and fixes.

Yes, their service manager Rick has always been very nice and so has Darren. They were very apologetic regarding the re-work they had to do on my trailer. The only concern I would have regarding replacing the front cap in a day is that you will be towing it prior to the adhesive and sealer being totally cured. I would feel better letting it sit for the cure time without the stress of towing upon it. Just my $.02 Cheers!

We have a 2013 Blackstone and experienced a lot of the same issues including stress cracks on the front cap which was a big on for me as well. The factory replaced the front cap on ours and when we picked it up and started home, we pulled into a rest area about an hour into our six hour drive home I did a walk around and found stress cracks in the replaced cap as well. We turned around and headed back to the factory and left the TT with them. They had to replace the cap again and then delivered the TT to me. The problem was that there was dimensions on the overall width of certain spots on the trailer and the front cap had an interference fit causing the stress. Fiber glass does not like to be forced into an interference fit or it WILL crack. I agree with you that for the price of these trailers, their fit and finish should be much better. For what it's worth though, ALL RV manufacturers seem to put out the same kind of quality or lack thereof! Enjoy your trailer!!

I don't know of any TT made today that does not require some form of clean-up and fine tuning to get everything right.

Sounds like you should get a rebate for finishing what they started:)

Well, finally took it out and now I have quite a list to deal with. I do really like this TT so don't get me wrong if I bag on it. But for the price I think the fit and finish could be better. Some things I will fix and others will be done by the dealer or factory. So far here is my list:
This is possibly a big one, there appears to be cracks in the front cap on the side where it meets the siding right in the middle of the curve. The are showing through the decal.
The molding between the fireplace and the bath door is messed up and there is a random screw right on the curve at the floor level that is stripped out.
The wood stain on the fridge door is missing where the center insert and edge meet.
There are a few places where the wood venire is not properly attached like on the side of the pantry.
The bedroom has two different wall papers in it, they are close but it's easy to see they are different.
The door on the electric panel has opened on the freeway.
There are wrinkles in the back splash wall paper in the kitchen.
Then there are some design flaws that I will have to deal with:
There is some gaps between the front diamond plate and front cap on the top that will allow dirt and bugs to get between the diamond plate and cap.
The dump pipe is supported only by some light weight steel band tape of some sort that will allow that pipe to crack if impacted by road debris.
The silicone sealer that seals the lights and other items on the sides was applied poorly. That I will clean up myself.
The TV is mounted so close to the wall that it is a little blocked when seated on the couch.
The back pads on the dinette are held in place with Velcro that is coming off the wood. The top of the dinette area prevents the pads from being straight up and actually pushes the tops in making for an uncomfortable seat.
With that list you would wonder why I bought that trailer. Like I said, its' a good TT, it just needs some fine tuning here and there. I have no place to put a trash can but will work on that one. The front cap is the big one. The salesman has been shown it and agrees it looks like cracks of some sort and could be a big issue down the road. I expect all issues will be worked out as I have met the CEO of Outdoor RV at the local BIG RV show here in So Cal.
While I am at it,,, the propane tanks are held onto the frame with sheet metal screws, I changed that. The wires that go to the lower side markers were just loose and hanging, I tye-wraped them and sealed the back of the light.
These are great trailers that will be fun for years.

Got the rear window replaced, and it's a big one, all for a small part. Neils did it in less than 2hours, all on warranty.
The tongue now has a floor and can hold blocks and other misc stuff. Wireing is all secured, very neatly. Now it's just a matter of getting things organized. well, maybe just a few more mods.

We bought a 25 ft Windriver this year and so far very happy with it. We did have the same problem with the black tank valve not closing all the way . We called and took it to our local RV dealer for repairs. Turns out it was debris from when they cut the hole in the tank to add the drain pipe. The tech found the plastic circle they cut out as well as all the saw shavings in the tank ,which got caught in the vale guide not allowing it to close tight. They cleaned it all out and installed a new valve (supplied by Outdoors RV) and it works fine. I later called Outdoors Rv and told them that they could have saved themselves over $300 in repair cost ,by using a shop vac for 5 minutes.

Kind of odd you had so many issues. Arctic Fox is their sister company and is located close to them. When something is broken it can be fixed or replaced but when it is designed to fail it's another problem. I don't blame you for bailing on it but mine seems to be fine except for some fine tuning that I would do to anything else. What will be it's replacement?

Highway 4x4. My Wind River was a new model year and I kind of expected a few issues after I bought it. But it was in the shop before it went on its first camping trip. I've had so many problems with it during and after the warranty period I can't really remember them all. Some of my issues were cabinet doors falling off. The sealed underbelly material fell out due to lack of retainers. Had to have the entire front cap resealed due to massive water leak into the bedroom. Exterior lights filled with water every time it rained or I washed it. This was supposed to be fixed under warranty. And that wonder flooring they brag about is junk. It dents very easily. AC issues as well. Since I have had this trailer I have only had it out a few times. And oh yes I have tried to contact the general manager many times during and after the warranty period. Phone email etc. No response. Im sure they build a better product now but I sure don't like being their guinea pig. It goes up for sale this spring.

I upload my photos to photobucket. Then you can copy and paste the image link here on the forum. Make sure you change the max width of the photo. I think there are tips to doing that here on the forum somewhere.

I tip my hat to those have mastered posting a pick here. I do not have any on a public forum or whatever it takes to post here. I have read several pages here and followed back a few links and it really could be easier than it is. maybe there is a reason for making it so many steps. I am taking photos, and will work on that.
