'22 Powerstroke seems a little thirstier than the '21 was.

I'm getting the idea that my '22 F350 (which should be exactly the same truck as my '21) uses at least 15% more fuel than my 21 did. I calibrated the fuel meter on the '21 but I'm not confident that I have the '22 set right ... I haven't filled the truck using a legal for trade meter yet. Filling only to the first click off, the meter I have been using just told me it took 132.5 litres to fill my 128 Litre tank (I figured I had 2 litres remaining so 126 litres is what I was expecting). Has anyone put more than 128 litres/34 US gallons in their 128 litre/34 gallon tank? Even if my pump meter is out 5% I'm feeling quite confident that my '21 was consistently getting better fuel economy.

I have a comment...double towing a big rig 1,300 miles, in 2 days, doing a 14 hour second day, in what may be heavy traffic at times, is quite a feat! Does Ms. 12V drive a little, or just a DIY?

In my experience, even though my bike trailer tows nicely behind my FW, it does add more stress to a long haul.

She is my passenger that keeps me company. I get in a mode and if she doesn't complain I just keep on tuckin. I really try to remember the bike is back there!!!

Scary part is yesterday I went unload my bike from it's Kendon trailer and I popped the front tire out of the bucket and it all of a sudden felt like the trailer popped off the ball. I look forward to see it still attached and then noticed the tube steel in all three places was broken and literally an added small skid plate on the center tube was all that was keeping the cycle and trailer literally from coming off along I-5.

I should buy a lottery ticket!!!

:B I asked him if GM and Ram were having the same issues and he told me Ford and GM lots are empty, Ram lots are full. So I could either save up for an oil change or …. no, I guess I better save up for an oil change. 🙂

Roflmao! That was a gooder!
Most mfgs have chip shortages. Ram buyers are still waiting for the extra 2 or 4 gears to show up for their transmissions!

Edit … gears. I meant gears. Lol

Pickups haven't depreciated too badly for awhile, especially diesel pickups. That said the last year or two has been strange in that regard. Limited availability and much higher real world pricing on new trucks have really propped up older truck values. I think I could sell my 2015 for what I paid new or very close to it, and that's 7 years and 85k miles later.

ya thats what they keep saying but even now I can save over 30K off sticker price waiting for a 2 year lease return. that 30% average hasn't changed in about 10 years. the dealerships keep pumping out adds sayign the used car demand is at its highest and you'll get a lotto of money but when you go its normal maybe a little higher but nothing specatacular.... I was looking at trading in on a new dualie 😉

I guess you're meaning you can buy a 2020 for $30k less than 2022 sticker price? That is surprising .... I sold my 2021 for $300 more than 2022 sticker price.

no, I could get a 2019 today here for about 30% lower than what it was sold for in 2018/2019. when I bought my 2014 in 2016 it was originaly sold for 86000 bucks, I got it for 51000 including extended warenty and such. the spred is about the same today but the numbers are higher. I was looking at a 2020 a year and a bit ago to replace min but it was still only a single rear wheel and it was 109000 so I said mine still does real good, I'll pass haha

I haven’t paid anywhere even close to those numbers for my fully loaded Platinums but like I stated in an earlier post my dealer has been treating me very well.

your also in Alberta where everything is cheeper. we have the BC pricing here haha.

Extremely Happy with my 2020... not looking to miss a year of camping either....

If you keep your ‘20 till the ‘22 comes in you won’t be missing out on any camping.

I am NOT banking on the prices staying where they are.... The bottom HAS TO DROP at some point.. With MY luck, that would happen a month before making my trade !:S

Not to mention, I have a rather large addition going up right now that has most of my funds tied up temporarily..
