July 23-27th, 2014
Here are the Dates for the 2014 MidWest Truck Camper Rally which will be held at the Amana Colonies again in Amana, Iowa. Many requested we hold it here one more year. Check it out.

The Activities are NOT Mandatory you can come & go as you please.
You can just sit under the shade tree & talk with your neighbors if you like. :character0053:
Wednesday July 23rd - Arrive at the Campground in the Afternoon.
- Spaghetti Supper for all.
Thursday July 24th - About a two hour tour with the Amana
Heritage Society.
(morning) Tour a Operating Woolen Mill, Operating Furniture
Factory, and 4th Oldest Brewery in the
United States.
- Potluck Supper.
Friday July 25t - A Tour at NorthStar Campers Factory.
(About 1 1/2 hour north.)
(Morning) I have a Charter bus in mind for all of us to
ride on. The Bus holds 40. It looks like it
will cost each person $20 for a seat.
Cut off to Reserve a seat will be April 15th.
You will have to send me the money in advance
for your seat. If we don't get 40 then we
will have to caravan in our trucks.
Seats are on a first come first serve basis.

Saturday July 26th - Truck Camper Open House.
Check out each others Rigs.
This was a Great Hit in 2013.
- Potluck Supper, & Raffle.
(2013 raffle prizes totaled about $1200)
Once again if you wish. Could rally attendees bring a gift basket or box for the raffle.
Start thinking about bringing a gift box of something that represents your state or your personality. $8-15 range, or more its your choice.
This was a hit in 2013 what creatively beautiful gift ideas many had. I liked the neat items all found.
Sunday July 27th - Farwell Breakfast.
There will be a $20 Registration Fee this year.
Those that Attended the 2013 rally voted to have a fee to help pay expenses.
The cost of the sites will not be known until sometime in January.
We have though reserved sites that are closer to our air-conditioned building we have meals in.
All sites are pull thru level electric, water, & sewer.
I have found a place to have each of you rent a golf cart if you wish.
The RV park is huge 465 sites
Many attendees in 2013 asked if we could find some to rent. I have not made contact to see prices yet.
Will let you know.
Some of the ladies would like to have something like a knitting, crochet, or a quilting Bee.
Something to pass the time and enjoy each others company. I thought this sounded like fun. I asked one of the women in town and the Amana Church women might come down to the RV park and share many of the things they have made. Hope you women enjoy!!!
A sign contest again. A sign at your rig to represent your name.
All rally attendees will get to be judges in this contest.
