Our new trailer has the built in cord at the back. Thinking to reach some pedestals we will need an extension. Any recs on one? Our old trailer was on the side and we never needed one. First trip out though dh had to pull forward to reach. Thanks

Went to walmart today. More expensive than amazon so that is it.

Got mine on Amazon. I have a 50a 25' cable that came with the trailer, so I have a 50a-30a adapter, a 30a 50' extension cable and a 30a-15a adapter for the occasion when I need to plug in at home. Amazon had the best price on all these items and I figured it was better to be prepared than be screwed. I once showed up to a park where the water and electric was along a fence 40' from the actual campsite and I couldn't reach with what I had available, so I stocked up in case it happened again or for when I needed to park in friend/family's driveways.

Everything except the original 50a cable is Camco brand.

I got mine at Wal Mart about 5 years ago as I needed it to reach the power pedestal I installed at my home, and it has been in almost continuous use with no issues. I do take it on trips.. just in case.

Thanks. Looks like brand won't matter.

I got one on Amazon for about $30 and it works okay. Walmart may have one a bit cheaper locally but Amazon was more convenient.

Even our local Home Depot is carrying RV accessories now. Market must be growing.

Stop by your local Walmart, look in the RV section.

I carry a RV30A MALE to FEMALE 25-foot extension cord. Have had to use to use it from time to time...

I got mine from the dealer for free when I got my trailer for the asking. They probably readily available from any RV parts store...

The RV dealers have tons of these around for their RV UNITS on display...

I bought my 30-amp extension cord at a Walmart.

It works fine for the rare times that I need it.
