I looked at the Lance 1172 at RV world in Yuma today. Very nice! Great people to deal with too.
I'm on a road trip with my Arctic Fox 1150, been to Denver, Arches NP, Zion NP, Vegas, LA, Palm springs, San Diego, Yuma, and I'm really loving my 1150. Except when I have to sit at my computer and work, I wish a had a recliner to sit on. I haven't decided yet if I want to blow $40,000+ to upgrade to a comfy chair. One thing that I love about the AF 1150 that the 2 and 3 slide Host, Lance, and Eagle cap don't offer: I can squeeze into a tiny parking space, and still enter the camper without opening the slide and it is fully usable. That was especially useful at some of the popular places in the Los Angeles area like the Griffith Observatory and Runyon Canyon. Very tight parking. So far, all the campers I have looked at that have a recliner chair need to have the slides open to enter.

Sue, I really don't have a problem with the shower on the 1150. I'm 6'2" and wear a size 46jacket. It's tight, but it is big enough for me to get the job done. If someone was substantially more girthy than I, getting into the camper with the slide shut, and using the shower could be an issue.

You'd never get in there with a motorhome.

Glad to have helped...come back and re-post what you think about that floor plan...going to look at it. Lance has always been a name brand...tell us what you think about what you find about the pro and con between the two. It would be a good discussion.
