Who is running stock load range E tires with a arctic fox camper and which model?

Nexans are total junk tires!!! I bought a new 2016 and had the dealer balance the tires before I would buy it. I had the tires balanced again by the dealer under warranty before I left on a 9000 mile trip. I stopped 300 miles from my home and had Firestone rebalance them, and then had the Dodge dealer in Colorado inspect them and they Road Force balanced them. The truck vibrated still, took it to Dodge when I got back home and they said it "performed as designed". The manager flat out told me that he was suprised that I even got 17000 miles out of the tires, but even if Nexan warrantied the tires they would be prorated. I had enough and replaced all 6 tires at about 17000 miles with a new set of Michelins and I had them installed by a local tire shop and still had some vibration. I went back to Dodge and paid them to road force balance the tires and finally, finally no vibration. Lessons learned, the Nexan tires are total junk, replace them, and get someone to balance your new tires who has a lot of experience balancing dually tires.

That means 2835 PER tire when used in dual tire configuration. So take 2835 X 11,300 lbs total weight at 80 PSI.

Since the rear is only rated at 9750 lbs, they recommend (on door sticker) to only run 65 PSI in rear tires fully loaded :).

I also have a ram dually 4x4 diesel with the nexan AT's. I found running 70psi just felt a little more stable to me loaded, but I am still under rear GAWR and even under GVWR with my 990 fully loaded.

Yep, my neighbor bought a new RAM dually late summer of 2016 from Dave Smith (75 miles from home). It came with Nexens. The truck vibrated on the way home.
He went back to Dave Smith, they rebalanced the tires.
No change.
At that point Dave Smith refused to do anything more.
Neighbor bought new tires and when he headed south, he left the tires with me and I sold them on Craigslist for him.

Anyones Nexans vibrate their Ram DRW any? I have noticed more and more vibration in our 2016 3500 even after having 6 new Nexans put on last week and balanced twice

34,000 miles on my Nexans hauling an 1181 Lance w/no issues in my 2015 Ram DRW 3500.

Dually = no weight worries with your setup regardless of tire. You have a 9000lb +\_ tire capacity in back.

You will be fine with those tires. I've run the stock size LT235/80 R17 for more that 200000 miles (not same tires :)). You don't need to upgrade them to carry a 990.

My truck and camper fully loaded for a loooong trip puts about 8000 lbs on the rear axle. Not even close to the 4 dually tire ratings or the rear axle rating. The camper adds less than 200 lbs to the front axle.

I will be running Michelin let 235/80 17ELTX 2 looking at a 2010 Arctic Fox 990. I am worried about have to upgrade wheels and tires which is not in the budget.
Can you get same size tires with a higher weight rating then 2835 lbs for dual rear wheel.

Srw or dually? And what tires. Makes a huge difference.
But to answer I’ve run stock tires Ram 20s with my 860 camper. They work but they’re overloaded a little. I wouldn’t publicly reccomend that combo.

Nexen Roadian ATs here on our Ram 3500 DRW as well. No issues

Our 2017 Ram 3500 dually came with Nexen Rodian AT tires. They are E rated and we used them for our Alaskan trip with a 2006 Arctic Fox 1150. I wasn't thrilled running tires I wasn't familiar with to Alaska last summer but they did fine for 15,000 miles of less than perfect road. They are still on the truck with our new heavier camper in the southwest for the winter. The tire ratings exceed the load in our case.

Is there a particular example you are concerned with?
