Another MOD LivinLite TC 10.0

Today we modified one of the storage closets in our TC. The original space had a huge cavernous bottom section where items would get lost in the depths. We cut out part of the Azdel paneling to gain access to the bottom of the cavern. We trimmed the cutout area with leftover material from when we cannibalized the bunk beds that came with the unit.

We then added a pullout wire drawer in that area. We also added a shelf (similar to the original shelves) at the bottom of the original door level.

We plan on adding a front to the wire drawer using the Azdel from the cutout to cover the open gap.

We do still have the modified seating arrangement and LOVE it!! We can now sit and play a full card of Yahtzee with no back pain!

My wife has suggested we leave the drawer space open. It sure would save me some labor.

This weekend will be one of the few we get out in until September. I do have to take a week off in August (I have too many days of leave accumulated), but probably will spend that doing items around the house.

Hi I would leave it as an open area, to break up the wall of doors. Do you still have the new seating arrangement you made? didn't see it in the pictures. We have put camping on the back burner until the fall. To hot, have to work & truck is in the body shop. Over $6000.00 in damage.Bill

Thanks for the comments.

Has anyone else ever noted how a "short" modification always turns out taking MUCH longer than planned.

My DW wants me to tackle the area under the sink next!! Will there EVER be an end!!

This weekend off to Indian Boundary Campground on the Cherohala Skyway!!

Nice job, great idea !

A little effort on the Mfg.'s part when they build these things would be nice . The TC designers can't think of things like this ? ?
