I saw this at the Packwood Flea market - the whole town of Packwood, WA turns into one big flea market on Memorial weekend and Labor day weekend.

(The pic is real, the comments are sarcasm if you haven't already figured out--it was a nice lookin rig!)

Figure of speech. If he is 13-6 on the picture, what will happen when he airs suspension bags?

It's ok. Thats it. What an inherent liability issue getting in and out. One mis step and it's busted melon (or worse) time.

Not for me.

I was thinking about it as well, but it has to be optical illusion as at 13-6 he would have to have oversize signs.

I'm not following you on this. 13'6" is a legal height so no oversize/over height signs required.

What I like about this is the sheer number of varieties and configurations that we have in the TC community. I'm sure that the folks who use this TC know exactly what they are doing in terms of size and comfort (and probably economics).

Truck campers are the Marines of the RV world..they come in all sizes and shapes and they're determined to go where they want. And one more thing, just like Marines they're modest and unassuming. There you go...

Most likely he has no AC on the roof, so the roof line is at about 13' level. My camper roof line is at about 12', but than I have over a foot of AC.
Than if he's got air suspension, he likely drop it down for camping.

It isn't really that low. Obviously it isn't a rock crawling buggy but trucks like that aren't limited to driving across freshly swept concrete shop floors. I doubt there's anywhere he wants to go that he can't.
Boy I'd love to have all the storage he's got!

Looks like the truck is probably aired down so when driving normal I am sure it sits higher.

Is it aired down or are the rear tires sinking into the ground? 🙂

It does seem that there is minimal clearance between the ground and the bottom of the rig. No off roading for this unit.

That's about as far from overlanding as you can get. The approach and departure angle might be able to handle a US speed bump but not much else.

All that effort to put that rig together and he's got a wobbly step ladder on grass to get in and out? Now, if that platform was an elevator, THAT would be cool!

Quite the process to get from the ground to the inside of the camper. Otherwise I really like it.
