much talk of it early last year,maybe they have to wait for Nissan ?
who knows what the contract may stipulate?

Nissan gets first choice as to volume ?
Very quiet after mid year,maybe the whole deal fell apart?

HUH I thought I read that Toyoda was also going to use the V8 Cummins.

No and I was told, (again for what it is worth) that they have no plans to put a diesel in their truck! But I was told by a Ford engineer that there would not be a V8 Ecoboost and all the Ford guys said that's dead wrong. So only time will tell, the Toyota Tundra forum says no diesel in the Tundra also.

There are a couple of those 4-door Porches running around town here, they've been out for a couple of years. Kind of ridiculous IMO....

I like the way that Nissan chromed that suspension on it's show truck!

Thanks for posting the photos. This is the first year in several that I did not make the run out to Detroit for the auto show. Maybe next year.

That Buck was even cooler in person! Definitely one of the better looking vehicles at the show.

An article I read the other day says the intended main market for the Buick is mainland China, where the Buick is considered a prestigious auto in their developing middle class over there. Supposed to compete with the Mercedes and other such luxury cars.

I actually like the lines of the Buick, neat looking car.
