I think if you got that many years from the OEM shocks I would consider buying another set.

Problem with that thought is that the shocks probably wore out long before. Original OEM on my 2016 where gone with less that 40,000 miles. Changed the shocks on my 2013 at around 30,000. One rear shock had no function left. When removed it stayed in the middle of travel. Did not rebound when pushed or pulled. Stayed wherever I left it. Remaining shocks had little rebound.

When I purchased mine, ShockWarehouse.com was the cheapest.

4600 and 5100 other than color are internally the EXACT same shock. 4600 for stock and 5100 for stock and up to 2" lift.

Having had both 4600s and 5100s on numerous trucks, I can tell you that even if they are the same, the 4600s ride better than the 5100s. I had 4600s on my 04 Duramax and it rode great, when I sold it I took them off and put them on my FIL's 05 Duramax. Still going strong with over 65,000 towing miles on them. My BIL has an 05 6.0L Chevy that we put the 5100s on, it rides a little softer than the 4600s. I put 5100s on my parents 09 Duramax, ride is softer than the 4600s. I have 5100s on my 13 Duramax, much better ride than the stock shocks but they do have more bounce seems like.

If I could do it all over again I would stick with the 4600s on all the rigs. I do agree the 5100s look better and stay looking better longer.

www.4wheelparts.com Go to their suspension/ shock absorber section and key in your year, make, model, and there is a filter for 0 inch lift up to 6 inch lift.

You will see the exact model # for your front shocks and exact model # for your rears. 5100s and 4600s are both on there. They have a 4 shock deal, but I'm sure you can find them less expensive.

I went with the 5100 in 0"-2" and they are great, they look better too.

I've had very good luck with the 4600s. Best price I got at the time was from shockwarehouse.

I bought my 4600s from Amazon and I don't know if the price was good or not. It is getting so I just go to AMZN and get it over with. Delivery was fast. Getting lazy I guess.

Bilstein are gas shocks. I also bought the steering damper as I figured if the suspension shocks were getting bad so was the steering shock. Truck rides much better then stock.
I paid $356 for all of them from 4 Wheel Parts on line.

Another question...
The Amazon site also shows "people who bought the 4600 also bought" a steering damper... Necessary purchase???
Price for 4 4600s was $282 and change...
