What can I use to get the black streaks off the aluminum TC siding? The black streak cleaner doesn't do anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

There are different types on Amazon. Which one is best?
Anyone? 🙂

Sense you just have a van I would use Tide, you have tough auto paint on that beast.

something else that helps, wash it from the bottom up. If you wash the top first the detergent can actually add to the black streaks.

Careful on aluminum siding, the paint isn't very thick so careful on how strong cleaner you use. I have found a clean roof helps keeping the streaks down. I just used a wipe on and off polish ( Liquid glass) on my painted aluminum smooth side (dark gray) and it worked well. As a matter of fact I just did it yesterday. 🙂 Looks new now. 🙂

I have noticed that it's in direct contrast to how much I have paid for a camper how dark the black streaks are.

Cheap, looks like h*ll camper with a brush paint job = no black streaks.

New camper that I am making a payment on, dark back streaks.

I have learned to live with them LOL. With my side graphics you can almost convince yourself that they blend in... OK, not really. But then I think about the work involved in removing them and I begin to think they look ok again.

Plus they always come back 🙂

I also used a good wax on my truck campers to remove black streaks. Works well... They also make a black streak remover for RV's found at places like camping world. I have even used lemon pledge.... Trial and error using different products will show you what works best for your needs.

I used MeQuires cleaner wax on mine. Took off the black streaks, and left a great shine. You got to wax when done any way. May as well just use one step.

Just think, that is the air you breath. I have found that any abrasive cleaner will remove the paint from the aluminum TC siding.

I've used "totally awesome" from the Dollar Store, works great. Completely removes the streaks.
