Just wanted to update this thread....
I ended up buying the F350. It is a beautiful truck and looks brand new. Very well taken care of. Love it. 3500+ lbs of payload ๐
No more worries about how I pack the F150!

Just to comment. Its not anyones business who drives the truck or how many miles are put in the truck"until you buy it". Its the dealers truck right now and they can treat it as they see fit.If you don't want to buy it because someone else was driving it..don't. After you purchase it..thats a different story..JMHO..Phil

Personally I would have a problem with the "finance manager" taking it on vacation. He/ she has no skin in the game so who knows how much wear and tear will occur during the oughting. May be a good piece of ammo to knock the price down at a minimum.
No justification for the above statement. On used cars/trucks they are "borrowed" by Management all the time at dealerships. They are not going to knock down the price too much....they know they can sell it to someone else.
It's a great "perk" when working at dealerships. He could put 500 miles on it over the weekend and not affect it's value one bit.
As noted it is my opinion but your clarification further supports my argument. How well do folks in general treat rental cars? 500 miles as a perk? Again I would be reasonably (not very) concerned that my soon to be ttuck was off on a "vacation".
