Camper with East/West bed and cassette toilet

After owning a Northstar 850SC popup for a short time I realized two things. I don't care for a pop up nor a North/South bed. I do like the cassette toilet.

Camper is sold, so the new search is on for hard side with an east/west bed and cassette toilet for a long bed truck. So far that has only led me to the Palomino HS-6601. Yeah, I know Palomino has one of the worst reputations for quality. Several used available under 12k from my recent search. Prefer used, but would buy new if it hit all the highlights.

Anyone know of another camper from say 2010 fwd that has this setup? Trying to stay relatively light, my F-350 has 4,460 lbs of payload and I want to stay significantly under that.

For single person you can also buy TC with no cabover.
Met a guy having 1 of those starting in Florida, he was pulling trailer with glider to do some flying over Sierra.
He drove import brand truck and was not overweight.

My 2011 Laredo was built by request with an E/W cabover. My Ram 2500 is a standard cab/long bed 4x2 and the considerations were to be as lightweight as possible, minimum cab overhang, and the fact that most of my adventures were solo.

That is what I found out when I went to my local dealer and they had a E/W bed. It was so much easier to make a half row and feet down vs scooting down with your head low to get to the bottom of the bed.

Some people can't understand that not everyone has the same needs. I can't speak for the needs of the OP but I have no one to crawl over when I need to get up at night and it's far easier to roll out the side of a bed then crawl off the bottom.

My Northstar Adventurer has an E/W bed and cassette toilet. I second the suggestion of giving Rex a call.

We had a 2006 Northstar Arrow 8.5 with an east/west bed and cassette toilet. I would give Rex Willet a call, I’m sure he can build one for you.

My last '94 Lance Squire(8'6") had a east/west bed in it and I liked it.Any truck camper that is not an extended cab should be east/west but I could be wrong...
