Would love to hear about those nice to have items in your camping collection. I always stock up with that type stuff over the winter, but I think I now have everything I could want (besides a couple items). You all just might spark some interest in new and interesting things I have not thought about.

Like to have:
-curved leveler/wheel chock
-Generator (Honda)

Nice Having:
-Clam Quickset Canopy
*so easy to set up and it has a ton of room inside
-Portable 45 Gallon Fresh water tank (bag)with water pump
*fill up anywhere and always have water to pump in my rv
-Propane Fire Pit
*I camp a lot at places that only allow propane fires
-2 collapsible round tables with cupholders
*Great for marshmellows & playing cards around the fire
-Coffee table that extends up
*We extend and eat on this all the time, also a foot rest
-Camp Chef 3 burner stove (extra cast iron griddle)
*So much more power than the RV stove and great with cast iron
-DirecTV Trav'ler
* Boy can this cut through trees...love watching sports outdoors
-Outdoor 8 panel Dog Kennel
*This beats tying my 3 dogs up. They love hanging out in there.

Many more extras, but those are some of my most used.

I have the 22" model with the stand...I bloody Love it! It works great for breakfasts and once it is seasoned properly, almost nothing sticks to it.

X2
Walmart has the 22" with stand, metal cover and bulk propane hose for $174. Was $147 a few weeks ago. Love mine! I got one for home and 17" for trailer. Stand fits 17" as well.

Got one...love it. My still working Coleman red camp grill which has been great for the 10 years we’ve used it will now go to my son as he begins his foray into the world of camping.

The Trailer Aid is a ramp with a dip in it to raise one tire up and hold it on a tandem axle. The other tire will come off the ground so you can change a flat. I also use it when working on the brakes, bearings, etc.
However, several people have said it doesn’t raise their particular tire setup high enough.

We really like the collapsible stuff, including a colander.

The Trailer Aid Plus offers an inch more lift. 5.5" rather than 4.5". It's on my shopping list.

I have one and it makes changing a wheel/tire much easier than getting out a jack.
I have seen them in Walmart.

Wants:
Bluetooth speaker for the iPod.
Better stereo and speakers.
Firmer foam for the dinette.

Have and like:
2 piece flagpole that goes in a block under the tongue jack
Lego blocks- 3 packs, 28 in all
Trailer aid
Aluminum director’s chairs
Outside dining table
Collapsible storage bowls
LED headlight

That’s just some of the stuff we have accumulated.

Trailer Aid?

Added to my list - Collapsible Storage bowls will free up a lot of cabinet space. Set of 4 bowls @ $39.99 and set of 4 rectangle containers at $19.99.

My main purchase before anything else will be the 50a Power Surge Protector. The Generator will need to wait a while.

I'd be happy just getting reservations locked down for our favorite sites in our favorite WA and OR beach campgrounds without trying to the second 9 months in advanced...

jbjuices wrote:
That was us with Henderson Beach State Park in Destin FL. 11 Months out, had to hit the 'reserve' button at 11:59:59 to get my reservation. Ended up camping a month later than I wanted to because if I missed the reservation, I would have to wait 14 days (typical reservation length) to try and reserve again. Did that twice...3rd time was a charm.

It can be worse. I've been inquiring at different RV parks in Florida about next winter (2019/2020) thinking I would get a head start, and I've been told they will put me on a waiting list and if something opens up they would call me. My first snowbird experience might not even happen!

wait, you have a Honda gen listed 😉

A good EMS will cost a lot less than a Honda Inverter Gen.

BTW, what is a Yellow Lag? Sounds like my kind of dog. 🙂

Yes, that is a great add and only $15.

I also need to add; don't want to spend the high $$'s; is a 50 amp and 30 amp surge protector. I am 50/50 on the sites I'm at...50% of the time at a 50a and 50% at a 30a.

Just need one. The 50 amp will protect you at a 30 amp site as well. That should be at the top of your list. Other stuff is just toys IMO

Per your want list of the curved leveler/chock make sure you let the person know to buy the Beech black ones instead of the Andersen red ones - Beech Lane Camper Leveler 2 Pack
2 reasons - 1. Andersen does not deserve to make any further money in this industry based on his getting caught defacing in a National Park, and 2. The red ones are getting a lot of people saying they are breaking in 1/2.

But those levelers are really nice and I'm very glad I have them. OK, I have the red ones since I bought them a few years ago but I may go and spray paint them black. 🙂

To add to your want list, USB outlets are very nice to have. These, Bestten Cell Phone Charging Center, can plug directly into an outlet or you can get replaceable outlets that contain USB ports.
