anyone have any tips on cleaning the fabric bunk ends of hybrid travel trailers? I have a 2015 Jayco x18b and have loved it the first few trips out however there is some bird droppings and residue from trees that has landed on the "canvas'. Tips on how to properly clean these after each trip would be appreciated.

I use KorKay been using it for years, works great on the fiberglass, awnings, canvas.

Magic eraser. I also use pop up gizmos but have used the magic eraser to clean.

I managed to remove the waterproofing off the canvas window covers in our hybrid. The water would wick right through it...

I bought and used 303 Fabric Guard to spray down the canvas panels and even after some soaking rains, not a drop of water has made it through.

Supposedly it is not safe for vinyl, so I was careful not to let it touch the rest of the tent end, which has a vinyl coating on it. It was simply a matter of unzipping the panels flat so I could saturate them with the 303.

Thanks for the information about the bunk end covers for pop ups. We just got the hybrid and I hadn't learned about the covers until I started researching this issue today. Perhaps I'll have to look into getting a set.

if you used Popup Gizmos like most of us hybrid owners do, you wouldn't have to clean the canvas.
not only do they help with temp regulation, they help with keeping the canvas clean.
they also help darken the tent ends for naps or late risers.

I have cleaned our Jayco 23B two different ways.

1; Wet wash it using a bucket of water with a little vinegar diluted in the water.

2; I have dry washed the the tent ends using a foaming type of glass cleaner and microfiber towels.

Both have worked just fine it would depend on having enough time during a wet wash to let the ends completely dry out before closing up the ends.
