Nothing to do with tea or China but it sure is something to think about before one puts 50k on a new aluminum body truck.
Good luck finding good camper special for 50k.
I am researching new Fords duallies for a year and most of stock I would like go >70k.
I build my cheaper one on Ford site deleting 4Wd and crew cab, as well as sunroof and Sirus, still coming to 62k.
Good part the 2016 models are listed 10k below MSRP

It depends on the speed you are driving, but you should be able to get 10-12mpg with a gasser Ford. The reports when I was looking about two years ago was it was going to be about the same regardless of whether I choose Chevy, Ram, or Ford.
I saved a lot of up front money going with a Ram and have been very well satisfied with 36k so far, over 1/2 of which has been with the camper on board.

I didn't. I said HIS truck is the same.
Although that broad statement pretty much applies to most 25/35 srw trucks.
