We still have a few little things to get done and I will installing backsplash of sorts soon (and still have to figure out what to do with that little border by the sofa), but we're very happy with the way things turned out so far. I ended up scrapping the old valances and installed rods instead. Cover for sofa is a slightly modified, zippered, twin futon slipcover. Scotchguard on new seats happening today. We're excited to take it back on the road!

Very nice, very colorful. A good departure from the earth tone browns you typically get - like mine. The new floor is waaaay better than the old.
Experience without good judgment is worthless; good judgment without experience is still good judgment!

Thanks for the information about the curtain rods. I was concerned about them falling during movement. I will try the same thing as you had.

That is wonderful. I get so tired of the drab browns and grays that mfrs. put in RVs these days. When DW saw the inside of the trailer in our signature, she said, "This makes me happy. I want one!" That's how your new decor makes me feel.

Thank you guys. Yes, it makes us happy to see it. Definitely big difference.

I am having problems getting curtain rods that will stay in place while we are moving.

Could you tell me what type of rod you used and how they are attached?

Honestly, we just got the typical extension rods from Wal-Mart and they work very well. They almost "lock" in place on the sides and don't seem to move at all. We haven't had any issues.

This is not exactly what we got but pretty much the same thing:

"Happy" is the right word for it. Very cheerful. I bet it makes you smile every time you go inside!
