Didn't use the camper at all this year.

Just wasn't in the cards this year. I didn't get the camper loaded until the July 4th weekend, never dewinterized it until mid-August, and unloaded it last Saturday morning.

Every weekend I could use it was raining. Every weekend I wanted to use it I was on call for work and chained to my desk waiting for the next disaster.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

Funny, I just loaded mine up yesterday for the first time this year. Heading out Thursday. Just now nice and cool enough in the mountains to be pleasant.

Yeah, that is what my wife is telling me for days. We are 1 hr of driving from Alabama state line, yet she is bitching whole morning about getting on the road.
Even if the hurricane makes it here, it won't be for 3 days.
Worse come to worse, the 150 years old shelters here are still holding

Best camping is from Labor Day to Thanksgiving day around here.....school cuts the Oregon Coast crowds by 75%!

We just stop by at Pensacola, FL (house of Blue Angels) and mid-September the 200 sites are booked for the weekend.
It is white sand and crystal-clear water here in 80-90F weather.
Coming to OP dilemma, we had our camper sitting for 3 years when we've been finishing and selling the house, but now we take real advantage of it.
By the time we get back home, I will record about 8000 miles in 6-7 weeks of camping

Kayteg1, get the h**l out of Florida!!:B

Think what 80+ years old man is not using anymore, that he used to use a lot in the past?

See you like old vintage trucks like me. I would have kept my vintage Lance too but it was too high to get in the woods on the property we own. I miss it and I don't.

This is why I just booked a camping trip at Ft Steven, Oregon in October. Memaloose St Park in the Columbia Gorge in April of 2018
And then Beverly Beach Oregon Coast first weekend of May 2018.

And with a few others that are riding trips/dry camps I have planned with friends...I like to keep the calendar full otherwise other things fill it up..... 🙂

So when things come up......''o sorry, we are out of town'' or ''we already have things on the calendar that weekend with friends''

My father likes to have "stuff" (and I took it after him) but when he retired few years ago, he start cleaning his overfilled garage and made a policy
"whatever not used for 2 or more years has to go no matter potential value"
But he made few exceptions and you can figure out what.

After one year passed where I didn't use my trailer boat, a guy offered me cash for it and I sold it.

This year, May to September, we camped Mt. Rainer National Park, Dosewallips State Park, Fort Worden State Park and Prosser RV Park (wine country).

Antelope Island State Park in Utah was pretty nice. (horrible wind at night and heavy bugs in places though)
