Dinette tables in booths

We are now looking for a TT of our dreams. We own a Lance camper. I noticed that some dinette tables have two legs. But even so, the tabes still rock really bad. Worse than in our Lance. Does anyone have a suggestion to lessen the table movement? It seems a longer receiver for the bottom of the leg would help solve this issue. Why haven't manufacturers figured this out?

Afraid I have to disagree on "all". Our double Lance legs do not have any discernible movement plus we have a factory solid wood table that does not move or flex. The Lance flanges and leg are machined with a tight tolerance. Maybe with a lot of force you'd see some movement, but by that point, the floor would be flexing.

Note that I said "to some degree" - that justifies the use of "all". I also suggested that one man'w wobble might be imperceptible to another. Unless you have a table with 4 legs at the 4 corners, and have a robust grillage all across the table top underneath, there will be movement. ๐Ÿ˜„

Ours has a small thingy that sticks out from the wall. The table rests on that and does not wiggle. If yours does not have one it should be easy to make something to work the same way.

Replaced mine with these: http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/products.php?product_id=1965 Picture shows white but they are actually black. Find also on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/29-5-FOLDING-TABLE-LEG-Cream-or-Tan-color-rv-camper-Hengs-HG-FL295-/22147662.... We really love them. Easy up, easy down, very sturdy and solid, table can be moved about, even taken outside.

The table in my trailer has folding scissor legs. We frequently take it outside and use it around the campfire. It is actually does not wobble much inside or outside.

Our dinette area is carpeted so the table legs sit on carpet. Quite a bit of wobble IF you "push down on it with some degree of force," so we don't.

Ours connects to the wall via a hinge, which you can remove to create the bed.

Those standard wobbly legs should be banned. They look nice on the dealer's lot until they get used in real life...

The solution in our KZ was to install legs from, you guessed it, Lance. Now 100% rock solid plus they look great. One benefit to these is that you don't end up with holes in the floor to deal with. Lance has the nicest looking legs around. :W

Another option is to install a wall bracket and folding leg. I did this on our first TT. I installed laminate flooring in it and didn't have holes in the floor to fix. If you want to use this option, you can probably find a piece of sheet flooring from under a cabinet somewhere and get a professional floor layer to install patch pieces that are seam welded/glued. Some dealers can also do this type of repair.

Mine are rock solid in my Pioneer. We take the top off on occasion for one thing or another and when we put it back it is still solid.

Yes Lance figured it out years ago. That's why I have an issue with the TT tables. We did try to push down on tablles in many TTs to snug it up, but still wobbled more than my 96 Lance. We were in many high end RVs. I guess that's the nature of the beast. We're hoping to somehow modify.

Lance has figured it out. The tables don't wobble at all.

My last two FWs have the double post table, and both rock solid. Maybe some brands are different, but if pushed down all the way, a new model, should have a solid table.
