Eternabond Roof?

I was recently fixing my rubber roof with some eternabond. I needed to purchase a 12" wide 50'
roll to cover the tear from the edge inward. As I was fixing it, I was wondering if anyone has done their whole roof in eternabond? I've considered some of those spray on roofs, cost is around $5000 for a 30' trailer. Eternabond would be around $2500-3000 for the product, then of course my own labor, so maybe about the same.

Yeah, this looks like the better idea when needed. I did just this and it does look pretty straightforward. A garage or carport would be helpful in getting it done though, as it does take some time to do it right!

Probably cheaper to just buy new rubber roof materials and install a new rubber roof. It's not rocket science just takes time and effort. Watch some youtube videos and have at it.

Most of your savings with eternabond would be in labor savings, so if it's DIY, the cost difference likely disappears.

Another con to using Eternabond on the whole roof, the stuff is really sticky.
That's good once it's applied but, getting long, wide strips of it lined up would be tricky. I wouldn't want to try it.
And if you hit a low hanging branch and tore up the roof I think repairing an entire roof covered with Eternabond would be difficult.

That said, I use it on all seems and roof edges. It's a great product.

There are other colors available for bedliner including white. Amazon has it for around $130 a gallon.

I like EternaBond for small repairs but I would not use it for the whole roof.
It has about a 10 year lifespan.

I use Heng’s for large areas. Tape isn’t meant for the whole roof IMO.
