I need some info from those that have a extended receiver hitch on your pickup. I need to move mine 24" to the rear, I will be pulling a 29' travel trailer with the hitch...thanks

If you compare the SuperHitch to other aftermarket receivers, you will see how much stronger it is built and how many more attachment points there are to the frame. There are plenty of competitors that have high capacity receivers but none that have the required capacity with an extension in use.

I add question.
SuperTruss from what I see on the site works only with SuperHitch.
I do have 2.5" receiver on my truck and would like to utilize that for up to 7000lb trailer and from what I measure I could use 5 foot extension.
Anybody found easy solution ?

Easy solution is install a Torklift SuperHitch. Your factory hitch will not handle a 5 foot extension with 7000lb trailer.

You don't need a 5 foot extension anyway. There is no camper that extends 5 feet past the rear of the truck. At most you need 4 foot. As long as the ball is even with the rear of the camper, you will not have trouble.

Even with 4 foot, best option is to install a Torklift Superhitch. Very different from my situation where a few inches would be enough.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

OP, I have a truck similar (exactly) to yours. I researched various options for extensions and finally decided on the Super Hitch with a 3 foot Super Truss as this provided a totally integrated solution including the rear Torklift tiedowns. No klugging or fabrication needed on my part. The setup is really strong (but pricey).

Factory stock truck hitches are not meant to use a 5' extension, or for that matter even shorter extensions. A 5' extension greatly reduces the amount of tonque weight that can safely be towed. Reese makes a (2 1/2") 42-48" long extension but I would not recommend using that on a factory truck hitch. Its a decent extension if you upgrade to something like a Reese Titan hitch and tow a smaller trailer.

I have a Reese Class V super hitch on my drw. When I had my Lance 981 I had a 24" extension but only flat towed a Suzuki Samurai, hence no tongue weight. You can download any Lance camper brochure from recent years and there will be a chart showing max weights with and without a WDH for the Reese products. Torklift approaches it differently, so their specs would be different.

A Torklift Super hitch is in your future!!! You can use a 24" extension and still be rated for 1400 tongue weight and 14000 pull using weight distribution. Hope you have enough truck.
