F150 and a Camplite 6.8

I have a 2013 f150 7200lb ecoboost supercab 6.5 bed and wondering if anyone has this combo with the Camplite 6.8 ? How is your mpg? does it feel overloaded? Just doing a little searching for info before I buy a truck camper.

Thanks for the welcomes.I'm from the Charleston area also.I live in Putnam co.,work in Charleston...OBXcamper, you may have looked at a palomino 6610 at d&H. it's white with black stripes. I think it's the only 6601 on the lot. I will post some pics and details when we get home.

YIPPPEEE...another Mountaineer! If we keep this growth up we may have enough truck campers to have a rally!! I am in the Charleston area... look me up sometime.
Are you getting a Camplite or something else? I am going to hit the RV show in Raleigh in February. It looks like there will be several brands represented.

I looked at several Camplites, both TC's and TT's at D&H in NC last Saturday. Maybe one of them was yours? Nice looking rigs.

We have P rated tires on our new SUV (rated to near what yours are rated to), and I wouldn't haul more than 200~300 LBS with those.

Well I got between 10 and 13 MPG bringing it home. Here is a surprise, it weighs 500 lb more than the title at 2280. I imagine it is because of the 4 season package. I could not imagine that would weigh 500 lb. The truck drove and handled it so well I have raised my limit to 2800 payload. Anything heavy will have to go on the trailer.
