I think they should then divide by the quantity of dealer stock. Also, should have another parameter of age of stock. Just because you sell what comes off the truck, should look at age of inventory.

Based on details, there could have been one 2014 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Crew Cab, 121 days old that sold. GM has not made a 2014 2500HD in more than 156 days. Therefore, how can the average age of a truck on the lot be 121? Every one of them should be at least 150. I think there is a flaw in their source of lot arrival and signed paperwork.

Yes, they are usually very "Pro" Ford. It's pretty evident.

The guy that started it sold it off then went to Ford to work, but what most don't know is he is still listed as a board member! They are noting more then a ad rag for Ford Motor Company.

How fast a vehicle sells would not even be on my radar if I were to buy a new truck.

HAHAHA Ford Ad rag at it again. So I have to ask, where are the numbers for the Ram 1500 crew cabs, 2500 crew cabs and 3500 crew cabs? PUT.com or better know as FT.com.

Why not factor in the quantity built. That stat implies we can expect to see more F-350s on the road than anything else. I doubt thats the case.

There are many factors involved in sales that would require in depth analysis to really understand what these numbers mean. Sales incentives, fleet sales, other promotion and advertising and weather. The real trick is not only to have good sales numbers but to also generate the most net profit possible.

What would make this data even more interesting and meaningful to anyone concerned about the bottom line, would be to have the variation and not just the average. I would be more concerned if I have a vehicle sell in 6 days and the next sells in 120 days and I have huge variation.

I like their stipulation that they limit fast sellers to a certain volume number but for the slow sellers they aren't limited by that volume.
