First tow with 2013 Ecoboost

Took the 2013 Ecoboost on her maiden voyage. I was totally blown away with the performance especially when I needed to pass the slowpokes. Trip was about 120 miles each way. Drove the speed limit of 50 to 65 mph. Averaged 9.8 mpg. As you can see from the trip profile below, it wasn't a flat trip!

Good to hear, that's an ideal towing combination whether traveling on flatlands or up/down mountain grades.

Well I would hope that with a load that light that the EB, would perform quite well even in hills.

Not nearly the elevation on our trips but am just as happy as you . we have been in the ozarks a couple of times know and so far know issues. We go again in about 2 week this will be more flat land. Can't help but wonder about the mpg on that trip.

The technology is impressive. I guess we'll know better in a few years and 150k miles if it's going to hold.
