My neighbour camper just got back from running some errands and found the water running inside her trailer. Water is everywhere !!! She has mopped it up but what else can we do to help out here? She is crying her eyes out. The trailer is a newer Kodiak
Thanks

I put a gate valve (IIRC) on my water hookup and only takes a one second 90 degree twist to turn it off.

If you have one, run a dehumidifier.

Had a line come off......OEM clamp blew.
Water ran for hours (while asleep)
Suck water up with a wet/dry vac......30 gallon vac/dumped it 4X

Finally.......pulled up carpet in living room & lineoleum in kitchen and then ran fans/furnace.
Still ended up with $6000 in repairs/costs (insurance covered)

Water can/will cause great damage. Subfloor is main concern.

Carpet will easily dry...subfloor needs air directly blowing on it.

Have them get insurance involved in case other damage is found later.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Rent a "steam cleaner" to suck water out of any carpet.
Open all cabinets to dry out.
Get/rent a couple of those high volume fans (they sit on the floor and blow air across the floor) to dry out everything.
Place some tools like screw drivers under the carpet flap on the slides so air can get under there.
Run a/c.
Need to dry out the unit quickly.
If outside storage is wet, get some fans from Walmart.
That's what I would do.

Open windows and get some fans in there to circulate the air. Open cupboards and let the air circulate in there too. Find the leak and fix it. If its under warranty inform the manufacturer or dealer.
