Thanks, this is an old thread, I'm here in FL for almost a year now. Sold truck camper locally and my 3500 fits in my garage.

Thanks for the replies. The area is Melbourne, FL. My #1 priority is top schools for my two kids and that limits me (IMHO) to one area of N. Melbourne/Viera and I see now they are ALL restricted/HOA communities. I'll plan for off-site TC paid storage for now, next is I'm guessing a DRW is a commercial FL truck, so my next problem is finding a home with a deep garage as I doubt I can leave it outside.

Although may HOA have restrictions about parking a truck,(not with TC,) some do not. When it comes to "commercial," many communities define it as a truck with lettering for a business on the outside, or tools or tool rack in the bed. Regular trucks are not.
The only way you can be sure is read the covenants and restrictions for that particular HOA. A real estate agent can get them for you.
Read them VERY CAREFULLY. Many sad stories have resulted from buyers that did not.
Good Luck in your search.

What part of Florida? I live in Pompano Beach, its beside Ft Lauderdale. We can park boats and RV's in front of our places as long as they are on a concrete pad or driveway.
Most people don't use the garage to park cars or trucks. They are used for storage or man caves.
