Front hitch

The company that makes the great superbumper is now about to release a product that will replace those front tow hooks with a receiver hitch:

They are taking preorders now for Friday. I don't have any interest in the company other than owning a superbumper which protects your truck against up to 30 mph rear collisions.

I'm going to get a small winch to mount on this front receiver and I know a lot of people want a front receiver to maneuver their trailers.

Oh snap, that's such a simple idea!

The double-receiver idea would also resolve a design issue with mounting a winch on my big flatbed trailer that could also be mounted to the front of the truck.

Unfortunately for them, I can weld, so they're going to lose out on a sale here.

I have a Curt on mine and the tow hooks remain. I use mine for a rack to carry a canoe.
