Got my Lance some new shoes

New to me anyways...taking delivery next week, joined the 6 tire set as this was a deal just too good to pass up even when i add in the shipping charge it was 10K cheaper than anything within 1000 miles even has an extended warranty. 2011 F350 Lariat extreme trim 4x4 6.7l Diesel Flipping loaded even has dual heavy duty alternators.

I am going to go nuts waiting for it to show up.

Already ordered the Atwood Jack Dually swing out brackets

Took it for a tow of the horse trailer after a fixing a small hiccup. Locking hitch pin holding in a tow ring, no key. Good thing Pat has a cutting torch.



That issue resolved and our hitch locked into place off for a drive we went. Up and down steep hills, really could not tell the trailer was there. The integrated brake controller is awesome.



Inside the truck is immaculate




Now I just need the Lance bed plug installed, Purchase a Superhitch to replace the OEM Hitch and some upper stableloads. I have Talons, lower stable loads ready to be bolted into place Fast Guns to connect everything then I can load the TC and hit the road

Yahooooo!!! Congratulations Eric! How exciting this must be for you! As for the tire rating, remember you now have 4 in the back, so you have a 11,640lb tire rating now in the back. Same scenario for the wheels. the joys of a dually! You will love it! Next time I'm up your way I hope we can connect at Rancho Seco...

The title makes me curious...

Do truck campers have shoes.... my Lance doesn't.... it rides around in the back of my truck.

I suppose that if I used my campers jacks and the jacks
had "pads" under them the pads might be refered to as shoes.

My truck has tires....

Please notice... my grammer sucks, my spelling is attrocious, my typing is awful... and my brain is atrophied... and I find humor in my faults...

... sometimes I have trouble understanding... especially if I have to hear it spoken.

We'll know the wheel spikes are staying when the updated profile reads "Mad Max aka Buzzcut". Beautiful truck! Our company is on Las Positas and those roads are horrible. Would you do a spay in liner?

The front wheels spikes look like you can chew up any vehicle that gets to close. I think they are just plastic nut covers that you can put back on your new rims. :B:B With those and the 6.7's awesome power you can be the terror of the highway.:B

The wheels will probably have to go. I need to check the model number against the spec chart but I believe they only are rated at 3600/ rimwheel spec. Not too thrilled with the tires either, Coopers value model Mastercraft Courser AXT 3195 single 2910 dual LT265/70R17. But I had planned on those as a needs replacing item.

Hey, should have seen this before, but those are NOT factory wheels on that truck!

They look like some I put on my 2003 Chevy. American Racing wheels maybe, cannot recall brand name now. It was those or Alcoa wheels, on hindsight should have got Alcoa's for easier access to inside dual for airing up purposes.

Get one of those, if you don't already have one, Mother's PowerBalls to fit on a cordless drill. Makes polishing those wheels a snap, considering all the nooks and small places they have.

Almost forgot. On edit, it does have factory size tires, 245/75-17's?????

So they pulled in at 2050 went over it inch by inch flashlight in hand, papers signed by 2110, out for a test drive thereafter. Took it on surface streets then up over the Altamont Pass on I580 worst stretch of FWY in the west, it is pounded to bits by heavy truck traffic. The suspension is stiff, steering is great, and omg the power in the 6.7L diesel is insane So far I would say we scored on theis truck. Only wear on the truck is some scratches in the bed (hey its a truck). The inside is spotless and it is fully loaded with the Lariat Ultimate Trim Package. I will be hooking up the horse trailer and taking Ruth and the horse to a riding clinc tomorrow. Lots of add ons to do before its Camper ready.

You sure they didn't just switch trucks and use yours to pull the delivery when things broke down??????? LOL, just kidding of course.
