Got My Vision 19.5s

I finally pulled the trigger on some 19.5s and Toyo tires. My stock tires and rims were over the limit and are over 7 years old. Got these at Les Schwab for a pretty good deal. Tires are not as wide as original, but am pretty happy so far!

I have the same tire in a 245. they grab uneven spots in pavement at first so be aware of that ( it goes away as they break in). They ride nice and wear well. What made you choose the 225s?

I thought the 245 might sit out too wide on the RAM.

Like the vision center caps! I got my visions Last June. My 2006 Dodge 2500 has plenty of room with the 245 size tires. wanted load capacity of tire in relation to the load factor of the 19.5 visions. Big difference in load capacity between 225s and 245s.

It is interesting how popular the 19.5's have become for the TC crowd.

You are going to love the piece of mind knowing that it will take a lot more stress on these puppies to fail than the OEM "E" rated ones.

9 years ago my Visions were nice and shiny like yours but had no stories to tell.
Now they will talk your ear off.

225 and 245 are both nice, the 245 is taller 1 inch wider, and has a higher load and speed rating than the 225

I didn't realize there was such a difference in load rating. I am taking them back for the 245s.

Congrats on the tires/rims. I ran Vision wheels on my previous vehicle a F350 SRW for about 8 years. I had different tires, but they worked well for me.

I don't know if you've thought about tire pressure. I ran 60-65 all around unloaded. Loaded with my camper I ran 80-85 for the front. Rears at 95-105 worked for me. For another data point, the recommended tire pressure for my 19.5s in the front on my F450 is 80 to do a 14500 GVWR. I take it that more than that is probably not needed. The other side affect of having too much front tire pressure is more tracking/wandering.

In case you are wondering, I started higher on the front which was really a handful.

They do look good. Is there a noticeable speed-o difference, or did the new tires have about the same diameter/circumference?

About the same. Slightly taller than stock, but seem to be close enough. I might get the speedo calibrated.

Looks great. I'm ready to replace my Toyo 608z MT. Those look like great tread. More Highway biased.
