hanging stuff on walls

I would like to put a shelf on my 322rets Jayco TT. That said these walls are foam and I don't know how much weight I can put on them. The shelf I am thinking of would have 2 supports with 4 anchors each. the shelf would be for books so some weight is involved.
Jayco send me a drawing showing add supports but they are not in the area I am thinking of.

Have any of you mounted stuff on these foam walls?

TIA

My studs seem to be 16 inch on center. I used screws that go into studs about 1 1/2 to be on the safe side of things.

The only way that foam wall is going to support a shelf with more then a few pounds on it, is by anchoring the shelf to studs in the wall. Find the studs and anchor the shelf to the studs. Most likely spot for studs is beside the doors and windows.
